For some boys it was baseball glove.  For others it was train set or a be be gun.  For me it was a mini bike.   Back in the late 1960's, a Los Angeles based company called Steens created a mini bike called a "taco".  I begged my dad every day for one and being a convincing little bastard who never gave up I finally got one.  It was magical.  It made me feel like I was....  Clever thing naming it a taco.  This began my lifelong love affair with the two wheeled variety of the iron horse.
